Cascara, the dried husk of the coffee cherry, was once considered a waste byproduct of coffee processing. We have made cascara into a refreshing coffee alternative and transformed it into a rich syrup with the help of our friends at BOUCHE. Sourced from coffee cherries grown at the foot of Costa Rica's Poás Volcano in the West Valley, this cascara offers a distinct and vibrant flavor profile with notes of citrus, cola, and prunes. You can use it to create hot or cold drinks, cocktails, or even as an ingredient in desserts—just like any other fruit syrup. With its natural caffeine content, cascara syrup makes for a refreshing drink at any time of day.

Dilute syrup with sparkling water in a ration of 1:1.5, serve on ice, top of with candied lemon slice.
